Payroll Specialist

The Human Resources Department at Bob Johnson Auto is seeking a Payroll Specialist. We are one of the fastest-growing Dealerships in Rochester.  As a Payroll Specialist, you will:

• Responsible for all aspects of payroll processing
• Respond to employee inquiries. 
• Audit employee changes in the payroll system as needed.
• Weekly/Monthly 401k funding.
• Upload the General Ledger files to the DMS.
• Periodic audit of employee set-up.
• Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the team, including basic setup, tax setup, and garnishment setup, with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to payroll processing, G/L interfaces, and tax reporting.
• Support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues, and support applications.
• Advise the team on best practices related to configuration and setup of the payroll system.
• Digital filing.
• Monitor and respond to HR/Payroll mailbox inquiries.
• Be responsible for various other related duties and project work as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5 Years Experience in a Tax/Payroll/or similar finance role.
• Exemplary attendance and job performance.
