Bob’s Motorcycles is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead, supervise, and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional customer service and productivity. Base salary is roughly $60-65K with bonuses based on goal achievement.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Foster training of service staff in all aspects of quality control, customer service, effective communication, service sales, work organization, and time management.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and among the service team.
  • Monitor productivity, give feedback, and formulate plans for improvement.
  • Assist in forecasting goals and objectives for the department.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and dealership policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Motorcycling knowledge and enthusiasm for cool things on wheels
  • Strong work ethic and high ethical standards
  • Full understanding of effective customer service and sales concepts
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong personnel management experience and coaching skills
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with others and interact positively and professionally at all levels
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • At least 2 years of service management experience
Primary Duties:

Employee Management
  • Ensure the correct handling of all aspects of the service transaction.
  • Monitor, train, and coach personnel.
  • Establish with GM appropriate staffing levels and recruit high-quality new hires.
  • Define and monitor performance by communicating goals and developing work plans. Provide regular and annual feedback to personnel.
  • Ensure effective technical, sales skills, and customer service training.
  • Create systems that ensure ongoing training for advisors, including weekly meetings.
  • Counsel employees as performance problems arise. Seek employee ownership of the problem, and be positive, supportive, and encouraging as they strive to solve it. Recommend next steps to the general manager if performance does not improve.
Customer Service
  • Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks.
  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.
  • Achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers to increase sales and build a professional network.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer care and focus.
  • Respond effectively to customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the service needs of the New & Used motorcycle sales operations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Planning, Strategy, and Compliance
  • Meet with the general manager to establish and review monthly forecasts, commissions, productivity reports, and profit opportunities.
  • Ensure that work areas and customer waiting areas are kept safe, clean, and free of clutter.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as requested.
