Bob's Stores is looking for 2 experienced Security Guards to support our Holyoke, MA location. Guards will work between 18-25 hours per week covering our store during all hours of operation (9am - 9pm). One individual will work Monday's and Fridays and the 2nd indiviudal will work Wednesday's and Saturday's. Guards will be given a secruity T-shirt and body camera and will be visible to our customers during most of their shift. 

We offer a competitive starting rate of $18 an hour and a flexible schedule. 

Overview: The Store Security Guards will be a presence at our front entrance as well as taken periodic laps around the store as needed based on potential customer theft activities. 

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

  • Assist the Asset Protection Department that reduces shrinkage while maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Increase Asset Protection awareness throughout both Bob’s Stores and Eastern Mountain Sports.
  • Rapidly respond to and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Complete required paperwork on time and accurately.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous Work Experience: (Preferred) Two or more years of Store Security Guard  experience or related retail experience.

Education:(Preferred) A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field. Computer Skills and Software: Experience with computers, POS systems, retail store systems, and e-mail.
