Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory control, and management of parts for our organization. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of parts procurement, including sourcing, ordering, and receiving - Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained - Oversee the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation - Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms - Utilize order management systems to track orders, monitor shipments, and manage returns - Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize efficiency - Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs or maintenance - Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify critical parts and establish appropriate stocking levels - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory control procedures - Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking parts usage and maintenance activities Experience: - Proven experience in parts management or a related field - Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices - Proficient in data entry and record keeping - Familiarity with order management systems and procurement processes - Experience in supply chain management and supplier relationship management - Knowledge of auto body repair parts is a plus Skills: - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - Strong problem-solving abilities - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment As an equal opportunity employer, we offer competitive compensation packages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
