Mountain Lakes Club in Mountain Lakes NJ is hiring for a Communications & Marketing Coordinator

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and executing our organization's internal and external communication strategies, as well as overseeing key operational tasks. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, technical skills, and organizational acumen. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a diverse range of responsibilities, from digital content creation to public marketing campaigns, and assist in event coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Content Management:

    • Regularly update and maintain the organization's website and mobile app to ensure current and relevant content.
    • Create visually appealing and informative event flyers and promotional materials.
  • Communication:

    • Develop and distribute a quarterly newsletter highlighting organizational news, achievements, and upcoming events.
    • Prepare and send weekly communications to members and stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Event and Reservation Management:

    • Coordinate event calendars and reservations, ensuring seamless execution of organizational events by the Food and Beverage team
    • Liaise with internal and external connections, such as Committees and Township personnel,  for calendar execution.
  • Marketing:

    • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract new members and engage our existing community.
    • Spearhead external advertising initiatives to elevate our Club's profile within the local area, using a mix of traditional and digital marketing channels.
    • Coordinate and promote club events, ensuring maximum visibility and attendance through effective use of social media, email marketing, and local media partnerships.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling promotional materials and marketing collateral that reflect our Club’s prestige and exclusivity.
    • Analyze market trends and member feedback to continually refine marketing approaches and tactics.
  • General Administration:

    • Provide administrative support as needed, including document preparation, data entry, and record-keeping.
    • Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational goals.

This is an Administration role that reports directly to the General Manager.

Qualifications


Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role involving both communications and operational responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in digital content creation tools (Canva, Meta) and website management via club management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.

  • Lift up 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
