SUMMARY

Service Technician will perform at a journeyman level of skill repairs and maintenance on Construction and Agricultural Equipment. Scope of ability includes: inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical components on equipment. In addition, The Service Technician must be able to troubleshoot and recommend diagnosis of services with the Supervisor, Customers and with an ability to maintain good record keeping along with legible work order notes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills
• Prior heavy equipment and farm tractor service experience as a technician mandatory.
• Valid class B license a plus
• Prior Compact Construction Equipment and / or Compact Tractor Experience valuable
• Prior Kubota or Bobcat Brand experience a real plus
• Prior service experience as a technician mandatory
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• HVAC experience preferred but not required

• Know the importance of Equipment Maintenance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to work successfully with the general public, as well as other employees.
• Ability to work in a team environment and accurately accomplishes work assignments under minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and process service documentation and adhere to service policies and procedures
• Ability to read, writes, analyze, and interpret common correspondence and effectively present information to top management or public groups.
• Ability to use computer
• Ability to solve and define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of technicians hand tools to meet the service and repair
• Ensure all customers requests on the repair order are completed to a high quality standard
• Strive to complete all repair orders within the time allotted
• Supply their own tool inventory satisfactory to complete most common job tasks, specialty tools will be supplied to some extent.

• Identify and advise the foreman of any additional repair items found
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times (company uniform program)
• Keep work area clean and tidy at all times
