What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Bobcat of Buda?
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for sale and rental agreements, contracts, DPO’s, safety certificates, warranty cards, limited warranty letters, ensuring insurance coverage for equipment rentals and tax exemption certificates. The Inside Sales Representative will learn Bobcat Sales & Marketing methodologies and assist its various sales teams, outside Sales Representatives and Key Account Managers with a multitude of sales-related functions and maintenance.
Major job responsibilities include, not limited to:
- Promotes all aspects of Bobcat to its current and prospective customers by assisting Bobcat Sales Representatives, Sales Departments, and the Marketing function with sales and services related to equipment solutions.
- Establishes, maintains, qualifies and nurtures business relationships with current customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
- Maintains accurate customer account information and machine population within CDK; develops and qualifies equipment and/or parts and service leads, forwarding to sales team as appropriate.
- Makes telephone calls and other forms of digital touch-points to existing and prospective customers; researches sources for developing prospective customers.
- Participates in ongoing internal/external training courses and various events, including Bobcat factory training, online and instructor-led training, trade shows, marketing events, etc., to keep abreast of changes and enhance sales methodology knowledge.
- Prepares warranty cards for whole goods, attachments and engines, submits warranties to manufacturer, and logs warranty data into CDK
- Invoices whole-goods, sales and rentals; Maintains equipment location for inventory
- Sets up new customers, assists in payment processing and monitors payments
- Obtains tax exempt certificates, rental insurance certificates, and monitors status
- Coordinates title work, files UCC’s and submits and monitors ADDR requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training/certification.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in sales environment in the same or similar industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills required, including all Microsoft Office applications
- Personal appearance must be neat and clean
- Bilingual – English and Spanish Required
