What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser/Food Runner position at Bocanova?
We are Bocanova, Cocina Panamericana
Opening March 2023 and hiring now.
This is the reopening of an upscale casual Pan-American restaurant and Bar located in Downtown Oakland at the corner of 11thand Broadway on the first floor of a 24-story building.
We are looking for the following positions:
- Servers
- Bartenders
- Food Runners
- Bussers
- Host
Essential Job Functions:
-Ensure that all guests are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
-Responsible for running food to tables
-Properly ring in all orders using the POS system
-Assist in refilling and maintaining cleanliness standards
-Ensure all service standards are complied with as described in the server training manual
What we look for:
- Must have weekend availability
- Ability to execute quality in a high-volume environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
- Willing to contribute to a well-integrated team environment
- Effectively interact with a diverse group of staff: Associates, Managers, and Guests
- Must have/willing to obtain a California Food Handlers Card

Bocanova will be open for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
