Shipping/Receiving Associate/Supervisor

Hi, we are a health food ecommerce company and we're looking for a shipping/receiving associate. You will be performing the shipping, receiving and warehousing tasks. This includes:

• Determine the correct packing materials for each product.
• Ensure that the appropriate shipping documentation is prepared and labeled as required for shipping.
• Prepare invoices and required documentation for shipments.
• Receive goods and ensure they reach the appropriate location and are tracked in inventory.
• Verify incoming shipments by comparing identifying information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc. Maintain inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods, as well as current space available. Manage verification, acceptance, counting, and records of all incoming goods and their condition. Coordinate packing and shipping all goods, including assembling packages, weighing them, and tracking costs. Update compliance policies around weight, quality, and timeliness for shipping and receiving.
• Booking freight pickups
• Creating shipping labels using ShipStation
• Using Quickbooks to validate pick slips.

General Information

• This is a full-time job, M-F 8am-4:30pm
• On-demand Pay (do not need to wait for 2 week pay-cycle for pay)
• Located in North St Pete off of US-19
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Experience/Education

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Pallet Jack experience
• Forklift experience
• Good communication skills (ability to read, write, and speak in English)
• Knowledge and use of basic arithmetic
• Previous experience in food manufacturing facility preferred
• Ability to use computer software to performing shipping tasks (ShipStation.com and Quickbooks - training will be provided)
