Auto Body Repair Technician

Body Shop Boss LLC is an up and coming Body shop in Grand Rapids Michigan. Established in 2023 we have gone from a 2,500 sq ft location to a 17,000 sq foot location. We are currently looking to add 2 more experienced tech to our awesome team. This years goal is to become the #1 Collision repair facility for the Amazon DSP's in Michigan. Hopefully you are the right person to help reach our goal.

Responsibilities:

- Perform auto body repairs and restorations on Amazon Fleet Vans

- Conduct automotive repairs including dent removal and or panel replacement

- Fill with Bondo, sand, finish and prime (finish excellence is a must)

- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming

- Ensure quality control by inspecting completed work for accuracy and adherence to specifications

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role

- Proficient in auto body repair techniques including welding, fabricating, and sheet metal work

- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and procedures

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality workmanship

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
