Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various administrative tasks and possess excellent organizational abilities.
Duties:
- Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Prepare documents including memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist in event planning and coordination
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Perform data entry tasks such as order entry and updating records
- Proofread documents for errors and inconsistencies
Skills:
- Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to transcribe information accurately
- Experience in front desk operations is a plus
- Knowledge of administrative procedures
QuickBooks proficient, GAP, HR, Payroll (ADP), AR/AP, Data Entry, Simple IRA, Knowledgeable with Sales Tax, and Tax Laws.
