Machine Operator
Shift Hours: 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday Through Friday; Will Train on 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm
We are currently interviewing for a Machine Operator in Sturtevant plant.

As a skilled Induction Operator, you will need 3 years’ experience working with Atmosphere, Vacuum, Press Quench, Induction, Pits, Tip Ups, Mesh Belts, and/or Temper style furnaces. In addition you will:
- Be responsible for startup, monitoring, and shutdown of induction equipment, per customer specifications.
- Be responsible for detecting temperature problems or other issues with equipment and reporting to supervisor as needed.
- Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder. (Keep if ITAR Plant or Remove in non-ITAR
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferable one to three years in heat treating industry.
- May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
- Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
This position requires the following physical and mental demands consisting of, but not limited to the following:
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly exposed to heat, dust, fumes, noise, humidity, etc.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone
