BodySpec is seeking a detail-oriented Front End Developer who will will help the software team deliver new features to our website and our customer-facing applications.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for fitness and data visualization. You’ll be creating software used by our clients to monitor their progress along their health journey with an early stage startup, and taking on technical leadership roles as the team grows along with the company.

As a Front-end Developer at BodySpec, you will work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure the day-to-day functionality of our systems that book appointments, process payments, securely manage client body scan data, and present results with relevant health information to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Front End Software Development:
Developing new features for our customer-facing and internal websites in areas including
Visualization of report results data
Experience with visualization libraries is a plus
Experience with Plotly.js preferred
Booking, payment, and e-commerce functionality of the website
Monitoring site analytics for marketing conversion performance
Google Analytics or Smartlook experience is a plus
Developing widgets and tools for the company blog and CMS system
React.js and Gatsby.js experience preferred
Experience with GraphQL is a plus
Assisting other teams with 3rd party software integrations
Experience with Airtable, Slack, HubSpot, and/or Tableau preferred
Other tasks
Assisting field technicians, remote workers, and teammates at HQ with IT purchasing and troubleshooting
Assisting in the administration of company IT services and software subscriptions
Monitoring service uptime with the engineering team
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or greater in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent certification from a technical education institution, or at least 3 years of related job experience in a Series A or earlier stage startup
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and helpful, and an insightful self-starter
Quick learner with an avid curiosity and sense of passion for technology
Excellent collaborative skills
Compensation:
Annual starting salary range of $105,000 to $125,000 (DOE)
Full-time team members receive $500 per month in team bonuses if we hit our monthly team revenue and individual performance goals
Annual bonus pool for the team if targets are met
All team members regardless of status or position are eligible for stock option grants, which are awarded based on performance
