The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Contract Administration Specialist to join the team in Hazelwood, MO

The Transactional Contracts & Pricing team has an open position to support either United States Government (USG) or Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs. The USG position would support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer across aircraft like F/A-18, F-15, CH-47, P-8, KC-135, B-52 or B-2 which have complex proposal and execution challenges. The DCS position would support international or commercial customers across similar platforms.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Execute Request for Proposal/Proposal Plan of Action (RFP/PPOA) review, proposal pricing and development, order review, and interfacing with internal/external customers (e.g. Engineering, Procurement Financial Analysis, Financial Planning, Scheduling and other internal functional partners) to address emerging issues

  • Acquire organization and Program/Business Management teams, conduct and lead proposal development and negotiation and provide contracting expertise to develop and negotiate creative business solutions for new spare business

  • Represent the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, commercial, international and public/private institutions

  • Exercise commitment/signature authority in accordance with formal delegation to negotiate and contract for the sale or development of high performance defense and aerospace products and services (e.g., aircraft, missiles, spacecraft and launch vehicles)

  • Submit offers and serve as official Boeing representative to the customer

  • Develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts and the next level within the customer organization

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Interpret contract requirements, manage change and resolve conflict

  • Exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies

  • Support presentation of business solutions to preserve and expand the business

  • Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements for The Boeing Company

  • Summarize contractual issues, support development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 1 years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 years of experience in Contracts, Estimating, Supplier Management, and/or Finance

  • 1 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $67,150 - $90,850
