Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Hertford, NC.

Company paid CDL training may be available for qualified applicant.

Position Responsibilities:

•    Oversees incoming/outgoing shipments for identification and damage
•    Coordinates and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers
•    Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments
•    Verifies accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipment
•    Identifies and resolves shipping/receiving discrepancies
•    Inventorying and issuance of equipment and materials
•    Serve as an alternate CDL Truck Driver for occasional Hazmat and Non-Hazmat shipments
•    Determines routes; monitors traffic and road condition and adjusts routes accordingly
•    Maintains awareness of schedule requirements and works with administrative staff to coordinate resources
•    Arranges for vehicle care and maintenance; documents vehicle service records. Records mileage and expenses incurred during driving duties

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 years’ experience in warehouse operations or transportation
• Ability to operate forklifts and related materials handling equipment to move, load and unload, stack or un-stack palletized materials, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL driver’s license. Entry-Level Driver Training available.
• Willing and able to travel domestically 10% on short notice

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Current Class A CDL License with minimal P, H, T, N endorsements and possess/pass a current Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Exam

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $34,000 - $46,000 base salary plus opportunity for overtime
