The Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center (ATECC) located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Level-4 Product Security Software Engineer. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

Our ATECC team is developing industry-leading software, hardware, and systems solutions. This position includes the opportunity to integrate new architectures and key security and control features using Boeing-designed hardware and other COTS and GOTS hardware/software. 

The OKC ATECC team is responsible for the product security solutions across the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) Portfolio in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Position Responsibilities

Successful candidates for this role will lead the design, development and maintenance of hardware and software-based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology and includes the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the verification of requirements, design, and implementation of security solutions and computing devices across multiple technologies.

  • Have the ability to lead the assessment of theoretical reverse engineering attacks and design countermeasures to defeat these attacks. 

  • Lead the development of software methodologies to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test points, plans and procedures.

  • Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.

  • Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. 

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science discipline (Electrical, Computing, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar)

  • Experience with embedded system development or firmware design

  • Experience in some the following areas: real-time software engineering; C/C , Ada, python; Object Oriented methodology; software development tools; Agile Software Development.

  • Ability to architect software systems and lead a team that will develop a well-engineered solution.

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Current Top-Secret Clearance is preferred.

  • Experience in working in a special access environment

  • Linux kernel development, VxWorks

  • Working knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, secure computing and/or anti-tamper.

  • Experience in applying Agile and Lean Product Development principles is desired.

  • Hands on reverse engineering experience.

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD 4 years, Master 7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard..

Salary Range: $136,850 - $124,200
