Insurance customer service

The Boffy Insurance Agency is hiring Insurance Customer Service Representatives to join our team!

Our Agency is located in Santa Cruz County, and were up to big things! We provide Auto, Home, Business, and Life Insurance to help protect our clients and their assets.

$18-25 / hr (depending on experience)

Schedule :

Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Education :

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience :

No necessary experience required although previous experience in sales or in insurance is preferred

Language :

Spanish preferred but not required

License / Certification :

Property & Casualty License required

Life and Health License preferred but not required

Ability to commute / relocate :

Santa Cruz County Area : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work at one of our On-Site locations

Work Location :

One location (NOT REMOTE)

Responsibilities

• Communicating effectively with clients and team members
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
• Understanding prospects needs and identifying sales opportunities
• Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
• Staying informed about competing products and services
• Having a ton of fun while being part of a competitive team
• Clerical duties such as answering and screening phone calls, filing, taking payments, and other tasks as assigned

Requirement

• Customer service experience required
• Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
• Must be coachable
• Excellent communication skills : written, verbal, and listening
• Must have strong interpersonal skills
• Must be motivated and determined
