Rental and Used Equipment Manager

Job Purpose: To maintain full fleet of rental and used equipment in order to provide solid profits for the company. To ensure that Bohl Equipment maintains its leadership position within its territories.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assure right size rental fleet within the branch locations.

· Establish and maintain rental procedures and processes.

· Spec new trucks to add into the rental fleet and order trucks.

· Rotate trucks out on rent based upon age or accumulated hours.

· Monitor overtime hours.

· Review rental rates on an annual basis.

· Ready all expired rental trucks for sales to the Sales Department.

· Monitor trucks and auxiliary equipment such as batteries, attachments, and battery chargers.

· Coordinate and hold monthly meetings with branch operations personnel

Position Requirements:

• Education:

o High School Diploma or higher

• Experience:

o Customer Service

o Prior experience in equipment rentals

o Knowledge of forklift operations

• Required Skills:

o Detail oriented and highly organized

o Excellent record keeping

o Computer skills

o Leadership skills

o Ability to “think outside the box” when speccing new rental trucks.

o Ability to work well with others in a cooperative manner.

• Travel Requirements:

o As needed

Performance Goals: The Rental/Used Equipment Manager must be able to communicate with suppliers and customers in an organized and positive manner. Set and attain annual goals pertaining to volume of trucks rented and sold, as well as gross profit to the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
