What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Director position at Bojangles?
We are Melanbo OpCo LLC. a franchisee of Bojangles Inc. Our Area Directors directly supervise multiple Restaurants and Management teams. They work through our General Managers, Assistant General Managers and hourly staff in designated restaurants to achieve the high standards of Bojangles throughout the operations. Area Directors manage their restaurants' operations ensuring Bojangles' standards are met in all areas and they provide leadership to General Managers to generate an atmosphere where people strive to exceed the expectations of the guest. Leading by example, motivating others, taking initiative, delivering legendary customer service and holding yourself and others accountable, are a must for this position. If you have excellent communication and customer service skills along with previous restaurant management experience, we will provide you with tools to be successful through our on-going training and support. Requirements:
- Experience in restaurant management including experience managing teams.
- A strong understanding of managing a P & L including food cost, and labor cost.
- Knowledge of food safety and willingness to certify in this field.
- Breakfast, Drive-thru and QSR experience is a plus.
- Understand your success depends on the success of others.
Responsibilities:
- Drive key performance indicators including labor, food and hospitality.
- Support and execute the Company’s training programs and initiatives.
- Develop and implement action plans to develop others.
- Interview and hire quality applicants for management positions.
- Coach and develop the operational, managerial and leadership skills of Management Teams.
- Ensure daily responsibilities including food safety checklist and inventories, daily sales report, drawer counts and deposits are performed properly.
Minimum Age: 21 years old
