About the role

Bold is looking for a VP of Sales to provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Sales Team. Reporting to the CEO, your goal will be to generate scalable, repeatable and predictable bookings and revenue while managing the strategy and execution of key go-to-market motions. To thrive, you’ll need a passion for and deep understanding of ecommerce to sell our products and give Bold a competitive edge. We’re looking for someone who’s both a visionary and a master practitioner to support the execution of the company’s strategic vision and drive revenue for Bold.

What you'll do
  • Develop sales processes and structure to maximize efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Lead negotiations and secure commitments on MSA opportunities
  • Work with the CEO to develop short and long-term new business revenue goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments
  • Develop employee talent with a focus on career development and internal retention
  • Develop a strong network of industry counterparts for best practices and idea-sharing
  • Evaluate sales strategies and develop innovative opportunities for the Sales Team to meet and exceed all revenue goals


Deal breakers
  • Must come from a start-up background
  • 10 years of prior successful sales and sales leadership experience
  • Broad ecommerce/SaaS sales experience and a proven background in the ecommerce industry, understanding the global landscape and trends
  • Consistent track record selling six and seven figure deals in technology, ecommerce and/or SaaS to mid-market and enterprise brands
  • Experience working with brands and partners on various ecommerce platforms and payment providers
  • Understanding of and experience in working with headless checkout architecture and APIs
  • Strong team management and organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Optimistic team-first attitude, professional maturity, and a deep competitive desire to be the best
  • A history of developing sales strategies, revenue projections, and goal-setting
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, relationship and negotiation skills 
  • A highly motivated individual who can build and lead a powerful team to bring Bold’s solutions to the largest brands in the industry
