Brand Marketing Intern

The Brand Marketing team at Boll & Branch is responsible for bringing brand stories and product stories to life across all of our consumer touch points. We obsess over building and nurturing meaningful relationships with our ecosystem of brand advocates, including customers, interior designers, influencers, tastemakers, celebrities, and press editors. Ultimately, our goal is to drive awareness, growth and loyalty for the Boll & Branch brand.

We are excited to welcome an intern on our team who will support a range of projects, specifically focused on PR, Social Media, and Endorsement. You will gain an understanding of the role of Brand Marketing, where it sits within the larger marketing ecosystem, and how we bring exciting activations to life.

You are an ideal candidate if you’re a creative thinker who loves to explore new concepts and out-of-the-box ideas, and are equally excited about organizing and executing those ideas to make them come to life. You love to keep a pulse on innovative brand partnerships and activations, and are inspired to find similar ways to grow and foster our communities.

You will report to the Brand Marketing Manager.

This internship is a part-time, 10-week program that runs from June 2024 to August 2024 onsite at our corporate headquarters in Summit, New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

• Support the briefing and execution of monthly ambassador and influencer activations
• Conduct research to identify organic partnership opportunities and develop recommendations on partners to pursue
• Support product seeding and gifting across our word of mouth ecosystem
• Provide on-site assistance with marketing events and activations during working hours, and represent Boll & Branch to external partners
• Keep a pulse on organic brand and influencer activations from competitors and other brands to help influencer our experiential and event strategies
• Pitch new ideas for the social content calendar and compile competitor examples for reference
• Prepare industry and competitive research (how are brands telling their story on Instagram & TikTok)
• Support our Press Agency with gathering sample requests and collateral for editors

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program for Marketing
• Deep curiosity and a passion to learn
• Flexibility to commute to the NYC office, approximately 3-4 times throughout the summer
• A positive attitude, especially when met with unexpected challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Google Suite preferred
• Part-Time availability up to 20 hours per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Accepting applications from rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in an undergraduate program

The primary location for this role is New York, NY. We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. Interns are required to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will be paid an hourly wage as a part-time seasonal employee of $16.00 as part-time seasonal employees.
