What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at Bollinger Mississippi Repair, LLC?
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, sourcing potential suppliers, constant verbal and written communication with customers/vendors; reviewing contract requirements; preparing/sending RFQs & POs to suppliers; preparing and performing sales quotations through electronic interfaces; meeting contractual deadlines; resolution of discrepancies; and overall evaluation of suppliers. Candidate must be self-motivated, outgoing, organized and possess strong problem solving and analytical skills. Must have at least 1 year experience in purchasing within the marine industry. Also, must have advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (i.e. MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel). Some travel may be required.
