An Administrative Assistant provides administrative and staff support to CHAND’s Gulf Coast division including greeting customers/visitors, answering calls, assisting with document management programs, project tasks, data entry in addition to performing other clerical tasks in supporting the division’s team.
Must have good human relations, people and communication skills including written and oral communication. Also, must be able to multi-task in addition to operating a multi-line telephone system. The ideal candidate will organize, develop, and maintain file systems, file correspondence/records, document preparation, scanning, indexing files in addition to performing various administrative/clerical tasks including maintaining office supplies and arranging for office equipment maintenance. The qualified candidate must have at least one (1) year of clerical and/or administrative experience including experience operating a multi-line telephone. Also, must have basic knowledge and skills using MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel). Previous experience operating a 10 key number pad and/or working within the hospitality field is a plus.
