What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner Trainee position at Bollinger Shipyards?
The Planner Trainee works under the direction of Planning Supervisor training to perform professional work related to a variety of planning assignments.
- Training to manage complex planning assignments, development applications, and review estimate proposals.
- Training to write and present requisitions to the planning supervisor as well as project managers.
- Training to assist in the development of long-range plans for large and small-scale projects.
- Provides planning assistance to project team members on varied levels.
- Presents reports and other findings to staff and serves as liaison to other departments.
Must possess the skill and ability to understand the principles, practices, and techniques of planning. Knowledge of one or more planning disciplines, such as structural, pipe, electrical, etc. is a plus.
