Who were looking for...

The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving the growth of the company by leading the sales team and implementing effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience leading an early-stage sales team in the B2B SaaS space and an understanding of enterprise sales cycles. They will be results-oriented, data-driven, possess strong relationship-building skills and come with a network that can be leveraged for growth. We need a hands-on leader to jump in and get things done!

What you will do...

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the companys overall business goals
  • Channel Partnerships (resellers, integrations, affiliates) will report up through this role. You will lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve partner identification, pipeline management, growth and overall partnership management
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed their sales targets
  • Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively, including designing ideal team structure to meet immediate and long term revenue targets
  • Generate scalable, repeatable and predictable revenue
  • Create, implement and ensure adoption of strong sales operations processes
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts
  • Develop messaging to help establish defensible competitive differentiation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the COO, other senior executives and stakeholders
  • Build a performance driven culture

Our ideal candidate will be or have…

  • 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Leadership experience in scaling organizations with revenues of $25M
  • Experience in B2B SaaS
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a constantly changing environment
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiation and change management
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills at the enterprise level. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Strong business instinct and acumen. Keen analytical skills, good coordination and management ability, builds relationships easily
  • Bonus points if you have experience in Martech

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $300,000 annually. Final compensation for this role is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidates relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The total compensation for this position is robust, including factors such as base salary, performance pay, and equity.
