Job Posting for Outreach and Events Coordinator at Bomberger's Store
This part-time position (20-25 hours/week) will work onsite and will assist the Marketing Department in building and fostering relationships within the local community to promote the organizations brand, enhance community engagement and ensure effective communication both externally and internally through traditional communication tactics and event management. Responsibilities include identifying and engaging with businesses, non-profits and community leaders to establish partnerships and collaborations; attending local events, meetings and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote awareness of the company; planning, organizing and executing customer and employee events; developing and implementing an internal communications strategy to ensure consistent and effective communication with employees; developing and maintaining a network of contacts with the local media, including print, radio and TV to leverage for future projects and events; and tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of outreach activities and events and internal communication campaigns.
Qualified candidates will have a BA or AA in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or a related field and at least 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, the position requires proficiency with computers, including Internet research, social media, MS Word and Excel, and Photoshop or similar software; and the ability to work effectively with interruptions, deadlines and shifting priorities. Experience with MS Teams a plus.
