Plumber - Mary Immaculate Hospital

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

Responsible for installation and maintenance of plumbing.

           

Employment Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of trade school or recognized apprenticeship.
• Current license as Journeyman or Master Plumber.
• Two years as Journeyman Plumber required.
• Hospital experience desired.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for installation and maintenance of plumbing and piping fixtures, appurtenances, and accessories with a minimum of supervision and assistance.
• Assists in maintenance and operation of boilers and hot water heating systems, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Participates as a team member by performing additional assignments not directly related to the job description when workload requires and when requested by supervisor.
