eCommerce Specialist

Bon Tool Co. is a global leader in the manufacture of professional construction tools for the trowel trades. With a firm commitment to provide the best value and to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and customer care, the company is looking for an eCommerce Specialist.

POSITION SUMMARY: This person will assist with eCommerce Department responsibilities including data management for uploading and maintaining product information on our Internet customers’ platforms and processing orders including order entry, shipping confirmation, invoicing, and returns. This position involves extensive computer data entry, communication and coordination with distribution center and accounting personnel, paper filing and other administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

· Data entry into company accounting software system (Great Plains Dynamics) and MS Access databases

· Data entry into customer-hosted vendor portals

· Interaction with purchasing, warehouse, and shipping staff

· Expediting customer orders

· Processing customer returns

· Verifying information and resolving discrepancies

· Uploading and downloading files via the Internet

· Completing Excel spreadsheets with product data and gathering properly formatted images for uploading to Internet retail customers

· Paper filing

· Handling customer telephone inquiries

· Other duties as assigned

· Proficiency with computer skills

Education: High school or GED or higher

Work Experience: Experience in a business office environment

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word

Work Environment:

· Office environment in a controlled atmosphere building

· At desk using computer a majority of the time

· Occasional walking to see teammates in warehouse and other parts of the building

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
