Reports To: Manager, Compliance
Job Description
The position is responsible for maintaining and improving regulatory compliance and compliance systems used for monitoring, tracking, and completing post-drill regulatory obligations, internal observations, and post-inspection corrective actions. This position also provides regulatory support to the facilities engineering, operations, environmental, and safety departments regarding State, Federal, and Local compliance requirements including but not limited to operational protocols, facility design capabilities, and reporting obligations.
Job Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will be focused on supporting compliance with federal regulations governing US Onshore Oil and Gas Production across all phases of post-drill operations.
Enhance and maintain internal data management systems and compliance programs to address BLM compliance needs.
Ensure required filings and notices are made timely and meet BLM requirements.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to directly supporting State and Local post-drill compliance programs including the preparation and submission of sundries/permits necessary to support on-going operations such as workover procedures and/or the plugging, abandonment, and decommissioning of company assets.
Prepare agency correspondence to support operational needs.
May require travel to remote field locations for regulatory consultations and stakeholder engagement.

Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with CIVI Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements
Assure work performed adheres to CIVI standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas industry experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience working with U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
