A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE DIRECTOR OF IT
As our Director of IT, you will promote an efficient and effective operation of the IT department to provide a high-quality service to its team members throughout the Club. This role will focus on the IT department's strategic direction, planning, resourcing, and management. This includes implementing new technologies and streamlining internal systems to increase efficiency, reduce costs and maximize productivity. You will supervise our Technical Support Specialist and communicate with employees to solve technical problems across our two campuses in Bonita Springs and Naples.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of Manager or IT Director.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the latest technology for IT systems and management (including but not limited to, Windows Server, IP-based networks, Office 365, SSI, firewalls, backups, disaster recovery, and end-point security)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Through understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company's goals.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be organized and have a good understanding of current technology.
- Must be able to work autonomously.
- Must have the desire and dedication to providing superior customer service.
- Must be able to anticipate the needs of staff and members and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs., stoop, and crawl under spaces.
- Prior experience working in the hospitality field helpful.
