As an Interior Foreman in our commercial construction team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the interior construction activities of our projects. This position demands a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in commercial construction, a deep understanding of interior construction processes, and excellent leadership abilities.
Family owned and operated since 1954, Bonitz of Georgia provides commercial Roofing, Roof Decking Systems, Engineered Fills, Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, and Acoustical Ceiling services. Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of construction plans
Implement and manage project schedules ensuring timely completion of interior phases
Supervision & Leadership
Lead and supervise a team of interior construction workers providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and accountability
Quality Control
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the highest quality standards are met in all construction activities
Identify and address any deviations from project specifications, working closely with the project team to implement corrective measures
Resource Management
Efficiently allocate labor equipment and materials to maximize productivity and meet goals
Monitor and control project expenses related to interior construction keeping costs within budgetary constraints
Communication
Maintain open and clear communication channels with project stakeholders providing regular updates on progress challenges and solutions
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of interior construction
Qualifications
Experience in commercial construction, with a focus on interior construction projects
In-depth knowledge of interior construction processes, materials, and methods
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and problem solving skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents
Knowledge of construction management software is a plus
Potential candidates must be willing to submit to a preemployment drug screening to be considered for hire
High school diploma or equivalent

$20-$24 per hour bonus, depending on experience
