Our HVAC Comfort Advisors' primary duties are to represent and follow the Bonney 5-star service system guidelines. Comfort advisors will welcome incoming sales inquiries with genuine interest and appreciation while meeting and exceeding budgeted sales goals through top performance and appreciation. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Accurately build and provide estimates to clients while effectively communicating and providing detailed notes, rebate information, financing rates, permit information and HERS testing details.
- Follow every single job from start to finish to ensure that the 5-star service the client has purchased is being delivered every single time:
- Collecting all required signatures, from the agreement all the way through to the financing paperwork and the completion signature
- Communicate with the install department before and after the install while keeping close contact with the field supervisor to guarantee everything that was promised has been delivered
- Keep in contact with the client throughout the installation process communicating any challenges or changes being made to the original scope of work while providing and thoroughly explaining solutions and alternatives to the client before the adjustments begin
- Verify that the job has been completed to the client’s satisfaction on the day of completion and secure payment
- May be required to work overtime
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business
Qualifications
- 2 years in sales experience with success in the industry
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
- Previous experience with in-home service agreement sales and estimating is a plus
- Knowledge of home performance and HVAC/home comfort issues and solutions, including heat load calculations (Manual J), duct design, insulation performance, air balancing, etc. is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and peers, both written and verbally
