The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible of conducting testing procedures during production processes to ensure our product complies with the quality standards at Boochcraft. The Quality Assurance Analyst is also responsible for data collection, data reporting, and driving quality excellence between all operational departments.

- Ensure a safe workplace and address safety issues as they arise.
- Aseptically collect samples.
- Perform ABV, Titratable Acidity, pH, DO/CO2 and can seam analysis with automated instruments.
- Analyze data and identify issues and inconsistencies.
- Provide sensory analysis on all releases.
- Prepare growth media and culture organisms by streak-plating.
- Perform PCR testing to identify and quantify targeted microorganisms.
- Culture yeast and execute cell counts and viability.
- Work alongside operations to provide necessary information in a timely manner.
- Driving new quality projects to promote future quality initiatives.
- Data entry and accurate reporting.
- Set-up and host tasting panels.
- Maintain a neat and clean lab space.

Requirements
- Education:?Bachelor's degree from a four-year college majoring in biology, microbiology, chemistry, brewing science, or associated field.
- Experience: At least two years hands-on lab experience within the brewing industry, food industry and/or manufacturing industry.
- License or Certification: Brewing certificate or Cicerone is a plus.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite: (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Physical Requirements: Must able to perform physical activities which include but are not limited to: lifting, bending over, kneeling, twisting, climbing on ladders, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be available to work on either first or second shift to support production needs. Must be available on weekends as needed.
