Duties:
- Provide English language instruction to students whose first language is not English
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the needs and abilities of the students
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to engage students in the learning process
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their language development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Implement behavior management strategies to address individual student needs
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with autism or other special needs
- Incorporate early intervention techniques to support language acquisition in young learners
- Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or equivalent
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special needs
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Familiarity with early intervention practices for language development
- Understanding of education administration and library services
