BookLogix has a full-time opening for a book editor.

Responsibilities will include editing manuscripts of varying genres, interacting with authors to answer questions and provide feedback, and working closely with other team members. NO REMOTE WORK, THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION ONLY. APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL TO THE AREA.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as English, Literature, Journalism, or Communications.
  • Working knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style preferred.
  • Previous experience editing and/or proofreading preferred.
