Software Project Manager

Summary

This position will work directly with stakeholders as well as design, development, and product teams to deliver exceptional and complex software platforms focused on construction project management.

Essential Functions

• Oversee project timetables, define project requirements for projects in various stages.
• Collaborate with the design, development, and production teams while clearly communicating the scope and goals of the project, targets to achieve, budget allotments are met, and timely completion of the project.
• Develop and maintain tools for project reporting.
• Manage scope changes and adapt work as required.
• Coordinate production releases, delegate tasks, and present projects’ progress and results.
• Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings to provide updates.
• Aid stakeholders in managing software development lifecycle and ensure key dates and milestones are met.
• Perform well under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude with stakeholders, clients, and company personnel.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate challenges alongside the team(s).
• Proficient in managing project artifacts in real-time, including roadmap, sprint delivery schedules, and project timelines.

Required Education and Experience

• Proficient in project management processes, strategies, and methods.
• Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Technical knowledge and experience in managing technical processes.
• Experience working with technical teams, both internally and remotely.
• Experience managing projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) experience in project management.
• Startup or agency experience preferred.
• Experience working with design teams.
• Experience working in Jira with multi-function Agile teams.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $66,385.00 - $174,098.00 per year
