ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Participates in establishing and implementing clear standards and expectations for the professional performance of providers to achieve:
- Excellence in patient satisfaction scores, including enhancing the patient experience and quality of services provided
- Excellence in cost effective care, implementing efficiencies targeting resource optimization/ expense reduction/
- Works primarily with the physician community around patient issues, clinical care and clinical concerns
- Collaborates with Regional Vice President, Clinical Operations, and with clinic leaders to prioritize initiatives and identify the appropriate implementation plans for all improvement initatives
- Works with Medical Directors, Clinical Quality/Outcomes, to support the integration of Quality Improvement programs
- Assists in the roll out of Boomerang clinical guidelines at the direction of the Clinical Quality Committee
- Provides secondary assistance in supporting the Contracting team; meets with prospective provider groups, communicates our value proposition and highlights the benefits of joining the IPM organization
- Leads onboarding discussions with newly aquired practices; sets appropriate and customized performance expectations in collaboration with the practice
- Develops and monitors KPIs and other management metrics to track and maximize performance; reports business performance data to the CMO and other key stakeholders as applicable
- Champions and supports patient safety and patient experience initiatives, to include patient satisfaction and access
- Collaborates in improvement initiatives related to Boomerang’s Matriculation Model of care, with an emphasis on performance, sustainability, comprehensive primary care delivery, quality performance, and patient experience
- Collaborates with regional leaders on clinical care coordination to identify and support reductions in the cost of care through appropriate institutional utilization and resource management by the service line
- Participates in preparing annual clinical budget and forecasts growth among different service lines in the organization.
- Assures that utilization of pain management, orthopedic care is well managed, and is appropriate and consistent with national and regional benchmarks
- Assists in planning and implementation of lower cost alternatives to institutional care, where appropriate
- Ensures that utilization of advanced imaging and prescribing practices are consistent with national and regional benchmarks
- Ensures that employee work schedules are aligned with business needs, and are designed to maximize both departmental performance and employee engagement
- Communicates and ensure that all employees comply with data management, documentation, patient confidentiality, and data security requirements and standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Graduate from Accrediated Medical Residency Program
- Experience:
- 10 years minimum of recent experince in clinical setting
- 5 years minium expereince in a leadership role overseeing all clinical and non clinical staff in a medical facility or related environment
- Experience in utilization management and cost care initiatives
- Certification:
- Current unrestricted Physical (MD/DO) licence for the state of California

Travel:
- Willingness to travel throughout California regularly as needed
