Boomerang Storage, LLC, located in Ludlow, MA, is a unique company that specifically serves the needs of students at colleges and preparatory schools in three states. As students prepare to leave school, we provide door-to-door storage and shipping services, helping thousands of students store their belongings over the summer.
We are a fun, energetic, and positive team that thrives on efficiency and versatility.
We have an Office Administrator position open and are looking to hire immediately. This is a seasonal part-time job that begins ASAP and will last until early September.
Employment Dates:
-Start: Now to early September, when the job ends. We may decide to turn this position into a permanent position for the right candidate.
-Must be willing to work limited overtime during peak weeks, and some weekends, which fall between early May and June and from August to early September.
-Lots of flexibility from mid-June through July.
-Shifts: Peak weeks 9 am-5 pm . Non-Peak weeks, flexible.
Job Duties:
-Customer support (Answering phones, emails, and chat).
-Assistance with handling accounts payables/accounts receivables.
-Processing customer orders/sales.
-Assistance with scheduling moves.
-Assisting with planning and creating daily pickup, delivery, and shipping manifests.
-General administrative duties.
-Opening and closing of the office.
-Some packing and shipping-related work on student belongings is in our warehouse.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Friendly and customer-oriented with exceptional customer service presence.
-Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
-Must be well versed in Excel/word and Google Suite.
-Strong work ethic.
-Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus- If not, we’ll train you.
-Knowledge of basic website back-end functions is a plus. If not, we’ll train you.
-Able to work effectively on a team or alone.
-Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
Pay: $18-$21 per hour plus applicable overtime if over 40 hours per week.
