Overview
Job Summary:
Managing performance improvement and patient safety initiatives, providing guidance, education and assistances in the development, implementation and measurement for projects, performance improvement and patient safety. Responsible for assessing processes and practices for regulatory reporting and conformance to quality standards. Assists in the development, measurement, and evaluation of clinical systems and processes which improve efficiency, quality of care, and health outcomes. Works closely with practice leaders, Providers, office staff, quality and IT leaders to implement improvements and ensure understanding, implementation and adherence to Quality Payment Program/MIPS, ACO’s and/or other applicable programs and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Participating in planning, implementing, and monitoring the continuous quality improvement program.
Conducting and/or assisting with chart audits and identifying areas of risk.
Performing regular EHR audits to ensure clinical staff are completing tasks per established guidelines.
Documenting and tracking all quality assurance/compliance activities.
Attending provider and clinical staff meetings, as appropriate.
Preparing reports to communicate quality activity findings.
Working directly with clinicians and office staff on quality initiatives
Working with the training and onboarding team to identify training needs and implement solutions.
Reporting quality metrics for MIPS annually.
Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degrees: Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field
Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Supervisor Experience: None Required
Licenses & Certifications: None Required
Preferred Qualifications :
Degrees: Master’s Degree in Related Field
Experience: 10 Years
Licenses & Certifications: RN License
