AI Solutions Architect
The Opportunity:
The AI Solutions Architect is responsible for working with clients on technology design and development activities to support digital solutions for enterprise Analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) operations in tactical cloud environments, secure network communications, zero-trust architectures, and designing mission technology stacks for defense clients. They drive and lead the development lifecycle, assess available technologies to select the right solution for the client, and help ensure the successful development of the technology baseline and complete system design.
You'll lead, manage, and grow multi-disciplinary engineering teams to accelerate an organization's ability to perform its mission and deliver rapid capability to counter dynamic threats. You will leverage experience with defense department clients to define business problems and develop analytics solutions with a focus on operationalizing data analytics, ML models, and AI technologies. You'll organize and lead agile development teams in designing and deploying new hardware and software and modernizing outdated systems. In this role, you'll work within a motivated cross-functional team with backgrounds in Agile, data solutions, client collaboration, innovation, user experience, and enterprise IT strategy. You will lead a team of developers, cloud architects, data scientists, and analysts in developing advanced DevOps pipelines and digital solutions. You'll provide thought leadership, drive business growth within the market, and develop and maintain client relationships. You will take an active role in the development, mentoring, and coaching of a team of data scientists, cloud architects, data scientists, developers, and domain experts, work to actively enhance the diversity of the firm, and play a lead role in attracting, developing, and retaining a world-class team of analytics professionals supporting the firm’s digital battlespace strategy.
You Have:
- 7 years of experience with performing complex functional project activities by providing management and supervision of multiple projects in digital technologies
- 5 years of experience with analytics and AI delivery in a consulting or operational delivery role, including defining strategy, establishing client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions
- Experience in the application of data science and advanced data analytics to health and medical use cases, including structured, unstructured, or relational and data mining and ML techniques
- Experience with managing development teams with disciplined processes for developing digital systems, DevOps, data analytics, machine learning, and change management
- Experience with developing and mentoring staff at all levels
- Experience with building an internal capacity to deliver high-quality and highly innovative analytics services
- Experience with project management, client relationship building, and executive communication capabilities
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Certified Scrum Master Certification

- Experience with leveraging existing cloud service providers, including selecting existing infrastructure-as-code and cloud services to build a client system
- Experience with full-stack requirements generation and development

- Ability to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, high-tempo, dynamic environment
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to articulate with both technical and business partners
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
