The Opportunity:
We're looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with an aviation training network to help operators better detect, respond to, and recover from a cyber contested environment.
In this role, you'll be counted on to help analyze local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Resolve interoperability problems and create Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) to obtain an operational training platform connecting training suites that include both common air picture and communications. Bridge the language barrier between personnel with regard to cyber interferences and understand requirements and re-write Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) and Ready Reference Files (RRF). This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to help our team leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the organization's cybersecurity group.

You Have:
Knowledge of basic Information Technology concepts, including network management
Knowledge of FAA Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs), Precision Approach Critical Areas and Precision Obstacle Free Zones (POFZ), Pilot Reports (PIREPS), Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR), and Military Training Routes (MTR) requirements of training certifications and qualifications
Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) compliant environmental generators and voice simulator programs
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
2 years of experience with continuous post-certification in air traffic control
Experience with Air Traffic Operations and Management
Experience as a Watch Supervisor or Controller in Charge
Experience with command and control systems, including Battle Control System-Fixed
Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) compliant environmental generators and voice simulator programs
Knowledge of ATC tower regulations, principles, and techniques
Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate effectively with staff who are not technically trained
TS/SCI clearance
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification
CompTIA Security and CompTIA Network Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.Work Model
