As a data operations specialist on our Advana team, you’ll work closely with Department of Defense data owners to establish data sharing agreements and manage data connection development work. You will identify and resolve roadblocks, while monitoring and communicating status of our data acquisition efforts to stakeholders across the DoD. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
How You’ll Contribute:
As a data operations specialist on our team, you’ll:
- Use your technical knowledge to support client and stakeholder relationships in the Department of Defense.
- Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
- Apply data visualization through different formats.
- Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and data operations to create data-centric solutions across the Department of Defense.

You Have:
- Experience with data management or governance
- Experience with gathering requirements and proof of concepts with customers
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R
- Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Ability to work with and frequently communicate with technical and non-technical audiences effectively
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with using Jira to track team progress
- Experience with using Slack as a communication channel
- Experience with using Collibra or other data management tools
- Experience with building pages in Confluence or other Wiki type tools
Clearance:
