Health Policy Analyst, Mid
Key Role:
Apply problem–solving expertise in health or life science to develop solutions to operational and strategic challenges for federal public health agencies. Work with project delivery teams to provide analytical support in the development of deliverables and strategic recommendations to drive organizational improvements in business processes, program operations, strategic planning, policy effectiveness, and decision–making. Perform independent quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods to derive insights on client issues, evaluate trends, and assess potential solutions. Develop and support or lead communications of practical solutions to clients in the form of data–driven presentations, briefings, and reports. Support business development objectives by contributing to proposals and marketing efforts. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of experience with health policy or analyzing data across a variety of healthcare-related fields including clinical, regulatory, health data interoperability, marketing, strategy, operations, or consulting
1 years of experience with strategy or management consulting
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to be a self-starter, function independently, and work with ambiguity and frequently changing timelines and deadlines
Ability to work in a team–based project environment
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications
Possession of excellent analytical skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
MPP, MPH/MHA or other advanced health related degree preferred
