SAFe Agile Coach
Key Role:
Serve as a coach for business, product development, and integration teams, conducting individual, team, and program-level coaching, including helping teams and clients to adopt a scaled agile mindset, and helping teams to reach the next level in their joyful pursuit of high performance. Model and nurture an environment with clients and leaders focused on successful product delivery and continuous improvement. Help to build a workplace that people are excited to be a part of, where success is celebrated, and gratitude is freely given. Manage development projects as a resident expert and weave skills of teaching, coaching, and mentoring with a variety of stakeholders, including sharing knowledge and unlocking the wisdom of others. Communicate with senior government or commercial leaders in front of a big group, facilitating common Agile events and program-level planning. Provide expertise and leadership for agile transformation for both business and software development projects and teams.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with supporting teams in the adoption of Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises (SAFe) and Agile at Scale framework, including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
Experience with applying SAFe through coaching on a program, including distributed development of team environment across multiple geographies, time zones, and cultures
Experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Coach, or Agile Coach
Experience with facilitating multi-person events, including SAFe Program Iteration (PI) planning, planning prep, and agile workshops, including problem-solving workshops
Experience with system integrations, software development, and delivering software systems to production using SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Lean processes
Experience with facilitating team-level or SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) level workshops, including backlog refinement and retrospectives to help the team understand Agile ways of working
Ability to apply consulting expertise in collaboration with a team to facilitate the maturity of SAFe and Agile processes and practices, including monitoring and coaching continuous improvements
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises (SAFe) Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with providing training using Scaled Agile Inc. enablement to provide SAFe-certified training for SAFe for Government, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe for PO and PM, and SAFe for Teams
Knowledge of the federally facilitated health insurance marketplace or health insurance eligibility and enrollment
Ability to use Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence, for programming and development
Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise and systems-of-systems environment
Ability to coordinate product roadmaps, recognize and perform timely impediment recognition and escalation of issues and needs, and engage contract and client leadership through progress reporting, consensus building, and organization change management to support the transformation of delivery using SAFe and Agile practices
Scaled Agile Certification, including SAFe Certification, SAFe for Government, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe for PO/PM, or SAFe for Teams Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
