The Opportunity:
As a scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's delivering state-of-the-art tools in the data analytics and data science domain. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that'll provide rapid, decision-support and incident response capabilities for our nation's military.
On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools, including Jira, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish product increment goals across sprints.
In this role, you'll directly impact the DoD's incident response capabilities by working with clients to build data analytics solutions to address mission needs. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in leading a multidisciplinary team and engaging with senior military leaders, while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve our nation's ability to respond to global incidents.

You Have:
5 years of experience as a Scrum Manager or Project Manager
Experience with JIRA, including managing a scrum or agile environment for a development team
Experience with project planning, scheduling, and reporting
Experience with supporting program activities using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to build relationships with managers, product owners, and stakeholders
TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
7 years of experience with supporting DoD government agencies or Combatant Commands
Experience with teaching and consulting teams on the adoption of Agile methodology
Experience with Confluence, including managing community spaces for a scrum team
Knowledge of JIRA administration, workflow development, and ticket configuration
Knowledge of software development project life cycles
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including coordination and presentations
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent facilitation skills, including leading by serving
Scrum Master Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.Work Model
