The Opportunity:

Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. Whether you come from a background in network engineering, systems administration, or software development—if you have a passion for making systems better, we need you!

Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve technology? We’re looking for a Security and Operations Engineer who specializes in installing systems on Cloud infrastructure, ensuring the infrastructure is functional and available, and updating and patching critical systems to enhance our security posture. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement, in a mission-critical system. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

·       2 years of experience with patching Linux systems or installing applications on cloud infrastructure

·       1 years of experience with RHEL systems administration

·       1 years of experience with managing systems using Infrastructure as Code for Ansible or Terraform

·       1 years of experience with AWS

·       Experience with patching and hardening systems

·       TS/SCI Clearance with a polygraph

·       HS diploma or GED

·       Ability to obtain a Security CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have:

·       Experience with Cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, patching, boundary defense, auditing, or authentication

·       Experience with Jenkins, Packer, Git, Docker, Kubernetes JIRA, and Confluence

·       Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and NIST-190

·       Bachelor's degree in a related field

·       Security CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
