Security Administrator
Key Role:
Serve as part of the Booz Allen Hamilton corporate security division’s security shared service center and administer US government security policies and procedures related to the Suitability, Fitness, and Public Trust personnel security program. Process packages for Public Trust determination submittals along with other personnel security-related onboarding and offboarding activities. Act as an intermediary with federal government clients and security offices across a variety of contracts and agencies. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, address personnel security matters with employees, and support the integration of additional departments and agencies into the Suitability program of the service center. Act as a team player, exhibit flexibility, manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment, and multitask and adapt to various agency security processes and requirements. Work within a team environment, meet deadlines, handle assigned tasks individually, and perform additional security duties, as assigned. Support making decisions, including analyzing problems and assisting with developing focused solutions, such as communicating information to various audiences using verbal and written communication mediums. Interact with internal and external customers to resolve issues. This position requires local travel in the Washington D.C. metro area.
Basic Qualifications:
-1 years of experience with personnel security or administration of onboarding processes which include Suitability, Fitness, or Public Trust requirements
-Knowledge of DISS, SWFT, and e-QIP
-Ability to multitask and work within varied agency security processes
-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with DISS, SWFT, and e-QIP preferred
-Knowledge of Suitability, Fitness, and Public Trust processes and requirements preferred
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-Possession of excellent customer service and organization skills
-Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Clearance:
