Windows Vulnerability Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Work independently to support the validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure information technology (IT) systems meet the organization's information assurance and security requirements. Assist with defining the organizations state and risk thresholds and analyze state information to assess compliance.Present results and recommendations to clients, including senior leaders. Serve as a Windows technical specialist for assets to support cybersecurity and IT services. Review, identify, and report problems with the installation and operations of Windows, including system options, software used and not used, default security controls that are enabled, disabled, or bypassed, and system-wide options or parameters that may create security vulnerabilities. Determine the impact and risk of submitted change requests prior to implementation, providing cyber oversight for Windows changes that affect the level of risk.
Basic Qualifications:
3 years of experience with Microsoft Office products
Experience with identifying, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting windows vulnerabilities and recommending security countermeasures to mitigate identified web risks
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience with technical operating systems in a professional work environment in lieu of degree
DoD 8570 IAM I level certification, including CAP, GSLC, or Security CE
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.Work Model
