Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Role:

Join a software development program using Agile methodologies to support the design, development, and implementation of DevOps pipelines to deploy applications to the Cloud. Evaluate design and architecture concepts for deployment pipelines and analyze and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and solution of Cloud deployment and monitoring pipelines. Support the management for the deployment of applications in Azure Cloud environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with Azure Blob storage, Key vaults, Automation Accounts, Microsoft Synapse, Databricks, Spark Clusters, and Azure Active Directory

• Experience with administering services installed in Azure, including Microsoft Synapse and Databricks

• Ability to build architectural designs using Azure DevSecOps

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with mitigating security vulnerabilities, auditing role-based access controls, conducting security assessments, conducting or overseeing user access and configuration management audits, and managing security design and implementation

• Ability to perform general administrations of subscriptions and security

• Ability to administer environments, including Linux and services installed in AWS, including Kubernetes and Cockroach DB

• Azure Solutions Architect Certification

• Azure Administrator Associate Certification

• Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Certification

• AWS Solutions Architect-Associate Certification

• AWS DevOps Engineer Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
