Key Role:

Play a crucial role in leading the engineering efforts related to cloud infrastructure and services for the F-35 program. Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions that meet the program's requirements for scalability, security, and performance. Lead a team of cloud engineers and specialists in the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and services for the F-35 program. Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud requirements and develop technical solutions that align with program objectives and priorities. Oversee the deployment and management of cloud resources, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and security protocols. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud operations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Interface with external vendors and partners to evaluate emerging technologies and solutions that can support the evolving needs of the F-35 program. Coordinate with other functional teams, including cybersecurity, systems engineering, and program management, to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into overall program architecture. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, and apply knowledge to enhance the cloud strategy and capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in software engineering

• Experience managing engineering teams

• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and regulations

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in software engineering in large-scale projects preferred

• Experience with an F-35 program or similar defense projects

• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices

• Knowledge of DoD tools and standards for software development

• Ability to innovate and solve complex technical problems

• Possession of strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

• Scrum Master or SAFe Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
